Heavenly Bird Droppings

Sun Jul 19, 2009, 9:31 AM
(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Some heavenly bird droppings found in Bryan, Texas, has left one family in awe.

It was business as usual for Salvador Pachuca who was about to give his truck a much needed wash Sunday. But what he saw next made him stop in his tracks: the image of Virgin Mary miraculously appeared in bird waste on the truck's mirror.

Since then, a steady stream of family, friends, neighbors and even strangers have come by to pray and take pictures. The Pachucas say their discovery is more than a coincid. . .

I started learning PhotoShop about 2 years ago to help
my wife who was starting a photography hobby. We thought
that despite my disability I could still do some of the
technical processing of her work to allow her more time
to take pictures.

Since than, I have taken some pictures at home of my own.
My wife and I are self taught. I am severely disabled with
Intractable Chronic Pain 24/7 and I am home-bound, thus, all
is macro and still life photography. I can hardly sit for
more than 10 mins at a time and fall out of action for weeks
at a time. Each of my photos is planned carefully from bed
before I take to action.

I pursue beauty in my art as an antidote to pain and hope
that others will see that art is not bounded by place and
circumstances but by the powers of your mind and heart.

The cure for boredom is curiousity. There is no cure for curiosity.
Wow! I will enjoy the cookie(s). Looks scrumptious!
Thanks. I was thinking that I could spice things up
by putting raisins with icing on one layer, M&Ms and
icing on another, than icing with little gum drops
on another, we could even try using different color
icing on the different layers etc.

Than after I get my fill, we can show this to child
size children and take pictures of the expressions
on their cute little faces. There could be a photo
contest of pictures of these wide-eyed, thrilled,
astonished, and happy faces! - about to devour a
magnificent desert.

(Talk about a happy meal!)

We need to find somebody with a child(s) to try this
out.

I don't know; maybe I'm just projecting my own
enthusiasm about this cookie. There could be something
special here.

You will risk turning off some very anti-sugar people,
but will devilishly delight a great many other people.

Make sure we patient this fast. :)

Thanks Ellen.

Ernie
Great idea!! :woohoo: Get some kids quickly and start snapping photos :camera:

No Kids here Ellen, not at all. Just old
fogies in this family. Being financially
responsible, nobody is having kids they
can't afford. Christmas and holidays are
really dismal around here.

My disabilities are mind-boggling. (I mean
impossible to imagine). I have sever pain
most of the time and attacks of pain so
acute that I can't risk being out alone.
I can hardly risk taking a shower without
help. I have been in this condition for
many years so I have learned to focus myself
in writing and center myself to achieve
emotional equilibrium that I have confidence
in for maximum a couple of hours each day.
(see my profile). It's very hard to be in pain
and not be cranky and mean. It has taken a
lot of rehabilitation to get me where I am.

I do have a daughter but no grandchildren. My
daughter is 39 years old and a pro artist. She
designs jewelery and sells it on line.

I have my imagination, my computer, my wife, and
these massive challenges.

I am glad you like my idea.

Ernie
I am sorry for your struggles, Ernie... But I am also glad that in this age of computers and such that I can make your acquaintance and that you can explore the wide world around you anyway!

As for kids, I guess no one would have ANY if they waited until it was "financially responsible" - lol! We have SIX of the little buggers (well, they're not little any more, I suppose...) and money is ALWAYS tight... but we wouldn't have it any other way... they are always a blessing, and I'm SO looking forward to grandchildren someday :)

Welcome to MY fantasy realm: [link]
I know. I am eternally grateful
for my daughter. I often think that
I could never have completely imagined
what I would have been missing if we
didn't have her in our life. She
transformed my life and made living so
much more - not less. But it seems that
I know so many people (too many people)
who were waiting for a better time to
have a child, only to have that time
never come. And from here I stand, it
looks like the ones that could have had
more were the ones most likely to calculate
it out of their lives. It takes a kind of
faith to know that life is waiting out
ahead of you with what you will need.
Many lack that.

In any case, I'm sure no one means an
indictment of any kind by their thinking.
It really doesn't go that far in most
cases. It's just too immediate for that.
It's like, "Let's not do it now, we need
a new roof". Really.
